Staffordshire Training Hub Board Overview
The Staffordshire Training Hub (STH) Board provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Training Hub, setting its overall direction and ensuring alignment with national and local Primary Care workforce priorities. Bringing together clinical and non-clinical representatives from across Primary Care and partner organisations, the Board provides a broad range of experience and perspectives to help ensure the STH remains responsive to the education, training, and workforce development needs of our local workforce.
Working collaboratively, Board members help shape priorities, strengthen partnerships, and support the development of relevant opportunities for Primary Care colleagues across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.
The Board oversees funding, governance, and delivery of the operational plan, with the Operational Delivery Group (ODG) responsible for managing and delivering the plan and reporting progress, performance, and key risks to the Board.

Staffordshire Training Hub Board Members
Group membership includes representatives from a range of organisations in the health and care sectors at both system and regional level, who have responsibility for engaging and communicating within their own areas.
Deputies should be sufficiently briefed and empowered to support quoracy, review proposals, participate in decision-making, and receive updates on STH activity and service delivery.
Board members will normally be appointed for a term of two years, with the option to extend for a further term, subject to Board approval.
