O
OVERVIEW
NHS England (NHSE) has continued funding support for eligible frontline professionals working in Primary Care to apply for the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) funding. The funding is available to Primary Care Registered Nurses, Registered Nursing Associates, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) listed below.
FUNDING ALLOCATION
The funding allowance of £333.00, is available over a period of twelve months until 31 March 2026 to each eligible healthcare professional employed in a substantive role in General Practice.
The individual funding allocation can be used for one or multiple training events, up to a maximum of £333 over a 12-month period. It can be utilised as chosen to align with personal professional requirements, as well as system and population health priorities. This funding aims to support the NHS, and support building skills and expertise of the workforce vital to services and communities.
The Staffordshire Training Hub is committed to ensure all nurses, Nursing Associates and AHPs in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent have access to their individual fund. To maximise the available funding, we are taking a hybrid approach, thus we will process individual applications and we will also secure at-scale events, which will be open to all eligible professionals and advertised via the website (in the Training Events section).
