Peer Support
Peer support is crucial for both trainee and qualified Advanced Practitioners as it facilitates a collaborative learning environment, enhances professional growth, and promotes emotional well-being. Engaging with peers allows practitioners to share experiences, discuss challenges, and gain a variety of perspectives, thereby reducing feelings of isolation, and increasing confidence. Through peer support, trainee advanced practitioners can build a network of trusted colleagues who offer guidance and encouragement, ultimately contributing to their success and development in their roles. Please see below for local, regional and national support sessions, webinars and forums that you may find helpful.
Online facilitated peer support and education sessions will be advertised on the STH bulletin so please ensure that you subscribe.
