RCGP FIRST5 Group North Staffordshire

Introduction to the North Staffordshire First5 Group, from lead, Dr Ansuman Dikpati
Hi I am Dr Ansuman Dikpati.
I am a salaried GP working full time. I am also a GP trainer and ex Professional Development Tutor for Keele University. I am passionate about Medical Education and Clinical Updates and feel very enthusiastic about learning events and networking with peers and colleagues.
The North Staffs First Five group aims to create a platform for GPs who are newly qualified, but is inclusive of GPs across the board because the experiences of the GPs are invaluable when shared and got a lot to learn from.

RCGP FIRST5 Group Stafford and Surrounds

Here’s a message from one of our Local First Five Leads:
“My name is Bukky Oso. I am one of the leads of the First Five in the Staffordshire and surrounding area. We started nine years ago and we meet roughly around every three months. We are about 10-15 in number and we have a WhatsApp group. Every November we celebrate an anniversary. With the pandemic it’s been a little difficult to have face-to-face but we have met online.
We have done topics in gynaecology and dermatology. Hoping to cover cases in paediatrics and urology in the new year. We are called first five and beyond so we can have lots of GP’s who are more than 5 years post training. Looking forward to welcoming new members.”
